Mini Countryman JCW All4 has officially been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 64.90 lakh. This is the first time the ICE-powered version of the current-generation Countryman is available in India, with the Countryman Electric having already been introduced earlier in July 2024. Bookings for the JCW model have been open since September 22, and it is ready to compete with rivals like the Volkswagen Golf GTI.

Under the hood, the Mini Countryman JCW packs a punch with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that delivers 300 hp and 400Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and All-Wheel Drive (AWD), making it a performance powerhouse. It can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 kmph.
As for fuel efficiency, the Countryman JCW claims a 15.4 kmpl figure, which is impressive for a vehicle of this power. The car also features an adaptive suspension system to ensure a smooth, controlled ride.
The exterior of the Countryman JCW is unmistakably sporty. The car gets a bold chequered grille, with red accents on the bumpers, brake calipers, and even the roof. The car’s stance is enhanced by 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, and it comes with JCW badging on the C-pillars. At the back, the car features a larger roof spoiler, blacked-out ‘COUNTRYMAN’ lettering, and a set of quad exhausts.
The car is available in three colors: British Racing Green, Legend Grey, and Midnight Black, with the option to customize the roof and ORVMs in either red or black.
Inside, the Mini Countryman JCW continues with the sporty theme. The cabin has an all-black finish, complemented by red ambient lighting and contrast stitching on the seats. The centerpiece is the 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen, which comes with JCW-specific graphics. The car also includes a premium Harman Kardon surround sound system for top-notch audio quality.
Other features include a panoramic glass roof, a heads-up display, a powered tailgate, and a wireless charger. For more convenience, the car offers auto park assist and electrically adjustable front seats, and automatic climate control.
With a price tag of Rs 64.90 lakh, the Mini Countryman JCW All4 sits in a competitive segment, going up against premium hot-hatchbacks like the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
