2026 Mini Countryman C Bookings Officially Open in India

Mini India has opened pre-launch bookings for the all-new MINI Countryman C.  Locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai, the all-new Countryman C will be available exclusively in a petrol variant. Interested customers can visit their nearest MINI dealerships to book the new SUV.  

This model fills the gap for a refined, petrol-powered family SUV, and sits alongside the high-performance JCW and the all-electric Countryman SE. 

Under the Hood

The new MINI Countryman C comes powered by a punchier 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine, which replaces the previous 3-cylinder engine. This new engine produces 170 hp and 280 Nm of torque, and is paired with a lighting-fast 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).  Thanks to the 48V mild-hybrid technology, the Countryman C will offer a mileage of around 15.4 kmpl. 

Mini Countryman C Key Details

The 2026 Mini Countryman C is equipped with the world’s first circular 9.4-inch OLED display running MINI Operating System 9. The cabin is leather-free, and features Vescin (recycled, high-quality textile) that feels premium. The SUV will come with a sophisticated 360-degree “Parking Assistant Plus”. 

Thanks to the local assembly, MINI will aim to price the entry-level model competitive against the likes of the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
