Skoda is preparing to launch the facelifted version of its popular compact SUV, the Kushaq, by late 2025 or early 2026. The most noticeable change in the Skoda Kushaq facelift is its updated design. Spy shots of test cars reveal new alloy wheels in a stylish dark gunmetal finish, which could be either 17-inch or 18-inch, although the exact size is yet to be confirmed.
Visually, the facelifted Kushaq will receive a number of changes. The front and rear bumpers are expected to be redesigned, while the headlamps will feature a more modern cluster. Additionally, the connected LED tail lamps will add to the SUV’s sleek and contemporary look, so it can align with Skoda’s latest global design standards.
The interior of the Kushaq facelift is set to see some exciting changes. Skoda is likely to introduce a larger panoramic sunroof, giving the cabin a more open and airy feel.
Comfort will be a key focus for the Kushaq facelift. The cabin is expected to feature higher-quality materials, improved seating, and a design that ensures a more comfortable ride for all passengers.
The facelifted Kushaq will come with a range of new features. The updated infotainment system will offer better smartphone integration and a larger touchscreen. Additionally, safety features will be improved, with more advanced driver-assistance technologies.
Other enhancements might include better sound insulation, improved air conditioning, and more storage space inside the cabin. These upgrades will make the Kushaq facelift not just more comfortable, but also a more tech-savvy choice in the compact SUV segment.
When it comes to performance, the Kushaq facelift will retain the same engine options as the current model. The 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine will continue to be offered with both six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. For those looking for more power, the 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine will also be available, paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG gearbox.
These engine choices provide a balance of power and fuel efficiency, making the Kushaq an ideal choice for both city and highway driving.
The launch of the Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected to take place in late 2025 or early 2026, with prices likely starting around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom), similar to the current Kushaq. This pricing will keep the Kushaq facelift competitive with other popular compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the Toyota Hyryder.
