New Hyundai Bayon Fresh Spy Images Reveal Design Details

New Hyundai Bayon spied in a parking lot India launch expected in Q1, 2027

It is no secret that Hyundai is preparing the next-generation Bayon, which is expected to be introduced in our market in Q1, 2027. The SUV has been snapped standing in a parking lot in Hyundai’s home market. This could be the top-spec variant of the Hyundai Bayon, which will be equipped with diamond-cut alloy wheels. The fresh set of pictures of the camouflaged SUV shows its design direction.

The outgoing Hyundai Bayon was first launched in 2021 as a crossover in the European markets. Spy images confirmed that the new model will have more SUV-ish profile, featuring a squarer roofline, a more upright stance and a slightly boxy proportions. It is expected to come with connected light bars at the front and rear. The new SUV has a raising waistline and slightly flatter roof that adds some visual muscle.

Next-gen Hyundai Bayon Rear Spied

The next Bayon will grow in size, and will be bigger, and taller than the outgoing model. It is likely to be based on a longer wheelbase. It will have a wider track which should allow engineers to create more space inside the cabin. The new Hyundai Bayon is likely to get a larger infotainment screen and more advanced safety tech.

Hyundai is also likely to launch N-Line variant of the Bayon, which will have a satin silver garnish on the revised front bumper. It is likely to get a sportier-looking grille and lower air dam. The SUV also features larger two-tone alloy rims, matte black lower-body trim, gloss-black trim on the doors and a sportier black roof rails. The spotted model has a single exhaust pipe, while the Hyundai Bayon N-Line will have twin exhaust pipes.

The cabin layout is likely to be similar to the new-gen Hyundai Venue, featuring dual 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and driver’s display, a multi-functional steering wheel, automatic AC, 360-degree camera and others.

The new Hyundai Bayon SUV is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine with manual and automatic gearbox. It will also get a dual-cylinder CNG tech, making it the only Hyundai above 4 meters size to have a CNG offering. The higher-spec model is likely to get a new 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine.
