Hyundai recently announced its future plans for the Indian market till FY2030, which include the introduction of 26 models comprising new nameplates, generational upgrades, facelifts and product derivatives. The future roadmap also highlights Hyundai’s entry in two new segments – MPV and off-roader - along with a strong focus on the mass-market EV segment.
As a part of its multi-powertrain strategy, the South Korean automaker will introduce 13 ICE (internal combustion engine), 5 EVs (electric vehicles), 8 hybrids and 6 CNG models. Meanwhile, the all-new Hyundai i20 is expected to launch in FY2028.

An updated ADAS suite, rear seat adjustable headrests, front seat headrests, new upholstery and trims could also be part of the package.
The existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, turbo petrol and diesel engines are expected to be carried forward. The new Hyundai Creta might also get a new strong hybrid powertrain with the generation upgrade.
