Early leaked images display the 2025 Citroen C5 Aircross design. 115 mm longer compared to the outgoing model. Accommodates a floating roofline and distinct rear lights. Range of over 600 km to be offered in electric models. Official introduction planned for mid-spring 2025, market introduction in November. Sold in overseas markets, such as Argentina.
The upcoming new Citroen C5 Aircross of 2025 has been uncovered before the public release. Images leaked early disclosed the exterior appearance of the latest-generation SUV with a sleek and more modern styling. The little SUV has improved dimensions and updated electrified motor choices, making it reflect more environmentally friendly direction.
Citroen had previewed the look of the 2025 C5 Aircross at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, but now, due to a leak, the official appearance is out in the open. Photos from Argentina's patent registration office reveal major aspects of the SUV's design. The new car closely replicates the concept at the Paris Motor Show, with little change.
The SUV is more futuristic in design with sleek lines and a more sporty profile. It has a floating roofline and distinctive rear lights that make it stand out from the other cars in the Stellantis family. The rear lights are distinct, giving the vehicle a more contemporary look. Citroen has retained major design elements of the concept, including the roof shape and rear pillar. One of the most notable points is the unique window design that has a depressed top.
The 2025 C5 Aircross is longer than the present model by some 115 mm. That additional length is supposed to accommodate more space inside for passengers and luggage. The SUV will measure 4,650 mm long and 1,660 mm tall. Citroen has not scheduled a seven-seater model, though, at least not in Europe.
The new C5 Aircross will have a range of engine options. These will be petrol, hybrid, and fully electric. Plug-in hybrid options (PHEV) will also be available with the option of four-wheel drive. One of the key selling points will be its electric range, with an estimated 600+ kilometers of range for the fully electric model. This emphasis on electrification is in line with the increasing trend towards environmentally friendly vehicles.
Though the interior of the new C5 Aircross has not yet been disclosed completely, it should retain some aspects of the present C3 and C4 vehicles. The interior should feature a powered front row, a sunroof, AC vents at the rear, and two seating rows. The boot space should be approximately 580 litres, leaving sufficient space for luggage and regular use.
Official rollout of the new Citroen C5 Aircross takes place in mid-spring of 2025, possibly during May or June. The vehicle is set for release in November 2025. Citroen has expressed that this car will be coming to several different international markets, including Argentina, which has already been confirmed with the patent photographs.
This new car will be the final of its type in the Stellantis group, and Citroen already owns on paper its strategy to prioritize electrification in the future. While the auto industry evolves toward cleaner technology, the 2025 C5 Aircross is poised to spearhead the Citroen charge into this thrilling new age of cars.
