Toyota has revealed three new electric vehicles in Europe including the C-HR+, bZ4X and Lexus RZ. The Toyota C-HR Plus electric SUV is scheduled to be launched in Europe in the second half of 2025. This B-segment EV is claimed to offer high range, practical cabin and a large luggage space. It will sit above the upcoming Urban Cruiser EV in Europe.
The new Toyota C-HR Plus measures 4,520mm in length, 1,870mm in width and 1,595mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm. This B-segment electric SUV is claimed to offer a luggage carrying capacity of 416-litres.
The electric SUV is available with two battery choices - 57.7 kWh and 77 kWh. The smaller battery pack comes with a single electric motor rated at 165hp. On the other side, the 77 kWh model comes with both 2WD and AWD setup. The 2WD version of the C-HR+ is claimed to offer 221hp of power, while the dual-motor AWD version offers a combined power output of 338Nm.
The C-HR+ with 57.7kWh battery pack is claimed to offer a cruising range of 455km on a full charge. It achieves 0-100kmph acceleration in 8.6 seconds.
The electric SUV with 2WD setup and 77kWh battery pack is claimed to deliver an impressive range of up to 600km on a single charge. This model accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in 7.2 seconds.
The AWD version is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in mere 5.2 seconds and offers a range of up to 525km on a full charge.

The new Toyota C-HR+ will first go on sale in the European markets in the second half of 2025. Based on the e-TNGA platform, the C-HR Plus EV will be positioned between the Urban Cruiser EV and bZ4X. Interestingly, the bigger European-spec Toyota bZ4X electric SUV shares its battery pack and powertrain options with the C-HR Plus BEV. Toyota India will launch the Urban Cruiser EV in our market in 2025-26 and has no plans to introduce the C-HR+.
The leaked image reveals that the Tata Avinya will feature an all-new two-spoke steering wheel, closely resembling the one seen in the concept version.
