Maruti Baleno facelift launched at Rs 6.10 lakh It gets segment-first LEVEL 2 ADAS tech
Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2026 Baleno facelift at a starting price of Rs 6.10 lakh, ex-showroom. The updated model comes with a couple of design changes along with new interior and safety features. The big update comes in the form of a new powertrain and LEVEL 2 ADAS tech. It gets a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that also powers the Swift and the Dzire.
The Baleno base variant, the Sigma Petrol MT variant is available at a starting price of Rs 6.10 lakh, ex-showroom, which is 20,000 more than the outgoing model. The company hasn’t released the prices of other variants. Interested customers can book the new Baleno at authorised Maruti Suzuki dealership or online at NEXA website by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.

The Baleno facelift is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 83 hp and 112 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. The hatchback also gets the factory fitted CNG kit, which offers 70 PS and 102 Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Baleno Petrol MT - 23.80 kmpl
Baleno Petrol AMT - 24.77 kmpl
Baleno CNG - 33.61 km/kg

Majority of the design changes are made at the front, around the grille. It gets a larger front grille that now houses the radar module for the ADAS suite. The SUZUKI logo is now placed above the grille, while the new bumper houses the larger air intake and newly designed LED fog lamps. It gets a new chrome garnish on the front fenders, and a new shark-fin antenna has been added.
The hatchback retains the LED headlamp setup, three-block daytime running lamp (DRL) signature, 16-inch alloy wheels, and wraparound tall-lights.
The interior layout largely remains the same, with dashboard housing a touchscreen in the centre. The Baleno facelift continues to offer a semi-digital instrument console with analogue dials and a colour MID. It retains the flat-bottom steering wheel, a heads-up display and physical controls for AC.
The 2026 Maruti Baleno facelift is now equipped with wireless phone charging with cooling at the front, a new Clarion sound system, and ventilated front seats. It misses out on the factory-fitted single-pane sunroof.
The Maruti Baleno facelift is packed with segment-first LEVEL 2 ADAS suite, which takes feed from radar as well as camera. The safety suite offers adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, high-beam assist, blind spot monitoring and others. A tyre-pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and others are offered as standard. The higher-spec model also gets a 360-degree surround view camera.
Maruti Suzuki is offering the Baleno facelift in 7 colour choices, including the newly added Enigmatic Teal, Nexa Blue, Grandeur Grey, Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red and Bluish Black.
