Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio get a 2026 update with more power and range. EV versions now offer up to 540 km driving range with improved efficiency. New tech, design tweaks and drive modes added across both models.
Maserati has unveiled updated versions of its GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible for 2026, bringing a mix of performance improvements, efficiency upgrades, and subtle design enhancements. The updates apply to both petrol-powered and fully electric Folgore models.
These changes make the luxury GT lineup more refined while keeping its strong performance identity intact.
The petrol versions of both models continue to use Maserati’s 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine.
In the updated lineup, the engine produces 490hp in the Modena variant and 590hp in the Trofeo variant, with the top-spec version gaining an additional 40hp thanks to increased turbo boost pressure.
The 8-speed automatic gearbox has also been recalibrated to offer quicker and smoother shifts, improving overall driving response.

The all-electric GranTurismo Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore continue with their 92.5kWh battery pack and triple-motor setup, delivering a combined output of 761hp.
However, Maserati has improved efficiency significantly, increasing the claimed driving range to 540 km, which is around 90 km more than before.
This improvement comes from a system that can disconnect the front motor when not needed, helping reduce energy consumption without affecting performance.
The EV models still deliver strong performance, with the GranTurismo Folgore reaching 325 km/h, while the GranCabrio Folgore tops out at 290 km/h.
Both ICE and EV versions come standard with all-wheel drive and air suspension.
A new “Country” drive mode has also been added, designed for rough road conditions. It raises the ride height by up to 25 mm at speeds up to 120 km/h, improving practicality on uneven surfaces.
Subtle design updates include a redesigned front bumper with improved air intakes for better downforce and updated rear lights with clear lenses.
Maserati has expanded its Officine Fuoriserie customisation programme, adding seven new exterior colours including Green Jupiter Matte, Blu Denim, Rosso Velluto, and Oro Lirico.
Buyers can also choose new coloured badges, exhaust finishes, and additional styling details. Despite the updates, the EV and ICE versions remain visually similar, apart from minor design differences.
Inside, both models now feature a more driver-focused layout. A new racing-inspired steering wheel with flat edges and aluminium detailing stands out, along with updated metal-finished controls and redesigned paddle shifters.
The digital clock has also been refreshed with a new octagonal design and pop-up functionality for drive modes.
The tech suite includes a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 12.2-inch driver display, 8.8-inch climate screen, and a head-up display. A driver monitoring system has also been added to detect fatigue and distraction.
Maserati has not confirmed a launch timeline for India yet but is currently focusing on expanding its dealership network in the country.
The brand recently added a new retail partner in Mumbai, alongside existing dealerships in Delhi and Bengaluru. Maserati also sells the Grecale SUV and MCPura supercar in India.
The company is also closely watching developments around the India-EU Free Trade Agreement, which could significantly reduce import duties and impact future pricing strategies.
