The 2026 Renault Duster brings a bold new look and upgraded features. Expect powerful engines and hybrid options for better efficiency. Priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh, the Duster competes with top midsize SUVs.
The all-new 2026 Renault Duster is finally making its return to India after being discontinued in 2022. The much-awaited third-generation model will be launched on March 17, 2026. The new Duster brings a fresh look, modern features, and powerful engine options. Renault hopes this update will help the Duster regain its popularity and strengthen its position in the competitive SUV market.
The 2026 Renault Duster is scheduled for a grand launch on March 17, 2026 in India. After a long wait, fans of the Duster can finally look forward to its return. The new Duster is expected to attract a lot of attention, especially with its new design and updated features.

The new Duster will come with multiple engine options to choose from. The first is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 100 hp of power, which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The second option is a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 163 hp, available with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT automatic transmission.
Additionally, a 1.8-litre hybrid petrol engine will be introduced later in 2026, around Diwali. This hybrid powertrain combines 49 hp from the electric motor and 20 hp from the hybrid starter generator to offer a total output of 160 hp. This engine promises better fuel efficiency without compromising on performance.
On the outside, the 2026 Renault Duster keeps its familiar shape but gets a modern makeover. The front features a new grille with Duster lettering and eyebrow-style LED daytime running lights (DRLs) that also act as turn indicators. The updated bumper and pixel-shaped fog lamps add to the SUV’s bold look.
From the side, the Duster comes with 18-inch alloys, roof rails, and black body cladding for a rugged feel. At the back, it features a connected LED light bar, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a black bumper with silver accents. With a ground clearance of 212mm, the Duster is ready for rough roads and off-road adventures.

Inside the cabin, the 2026 Duster gets a big upgrade. The dashboard has been completely redesigned with a dual-screen setup. It features soft-touch materials, silver accents, and green contrast stitching to give the interior a premium feel. For more comfort, the front seats are powered and ventilated, and the Duster also comes with a panoramic sunroof.
The new Duster also comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster provides a modern look, and there’s a wireless charger to keep your devices powered up. For safety, the Duster will have six airbags, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, TPMS, and Level 2 ADAS.
The price of the 2026 Renault Duster is expected to be between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh. This pricing will place it in direct competition with other popular midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Honda Elevate.
