2026 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition starts at Rs 36.51 lakh Gets gloss black alloy wheels, ambient lighting and dual-tone upholstery Bookings open on October 12, 2026
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition in India, with new exterior styling elements and additional cabin features. The special edition is available in 4x2 manual and automatic variants, with prices starting at Rs 36.51 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated SUV gets gloss black alloy wheels, a black roof, revised exterior accents, ambient lighting and dual-tone black and maroon upholstery. It also adds convenience features such as auto-folding ORVMs and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Bookings for the new Fortuner Leader Edition will open on October 12, 2026.
The 2026 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition is offered in two variants, with the automatic version priced higher than the manual model.
Fortuner Leader Edition 4x2 MT: Rs 36.51 lakh
Fortuner Leader Edition 4x2 AT: Rs 38.72 lakh
Both prices are ex-showroom. Toyota has not announced any mechanical changes for the Leader Edition, with the update focusing mainly on styling and convenience features.

The Fortuner Leader Edition gets several black-finished elements to give the SUV a more distinctive look. These include gloss black alloy wheels with matching hub caps, a black roof, a black-finished antenna and black rear door garnish.
It also features a signature front grille design, body-side mouldings and an exclusive hood emblem. The dual-tone black roof further adds to its visual appeal. The special edition retains the Fortuner's familiar muscular design but gets these additional details to distinguish it from the standard SUV.
Inside, the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition features dual-tone black and maroon seat upholstery, along with matching black and maroon door trims. Ambient lighting and illuminated scuff plates are also part of the update. The SUV gets auto-folding outside rear-view mirrors and a tyre pressure monitoring system. These additions aim to improve everyday convenience and make it easier for drivers to monitor tyre pressure.
Toyota has not announced any changes to the Fortuner Leader Edition's engine options. It is available with a choice of six-speed manual and automatic transmissions, both in 4x2 configuration. The Leader Edition is positioned as a styling and feature update rather than a mechanical upgrade. Buyers looking for the additional exterior and interior touches can choose between the two transmission options.
The 2026 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition will be available in three colour options: Super White, Platinum White Pearl and Attitude Black.
Bookings will open on October 12, 2026. Interested customers can reserve the SUV through Toyota India's official website or by visiting their nearest Toyota dealership.
Toyota is also offering ownership benefits, including five years of complimentary roadside assistance and a standard warranty of three years or 1,00,000km, whichever comes first. The warranty can be extended up to five years or 2,20,000km. Flexible finance plans and the Toyota Smiles Plus service programme are also available.
