Sierra EV to arrive by October 2025 Punch facelift and Nexon EV with LEVEL 2 ADAS launching this festive season Harrier and Safari petrol could arrive by December 2025
In a bid to regain lost market share, Tata Motors is preparing to launch multiple new SUVs. Before the end of this calendar year, the homegrown passenger vehicle maker could launch 5 SUVs, including the all-new Sierra EV, and the updated versions of the Nexon EV and Punch. Moreover, the petrol derivatives of the Harrier and Safari are also expected to launch before the end of this year.
| Upcoming Tata SUVs | Launch Details (Expected) |
| Sierra EV | October 2025 |
| Punch Facelift | Sept-Oct 2025 |
| Nexon EV Level-2 ADAS | September 2025 |
| Harrier Petrol | Nov-Dec 2025 |
| Safari Petrol | Nov-Dec 2025 |

The iconic Tata Sierra nameplate is all set to return in the form of electric avatar this festive season. Expected to be launched in October 2025, the new Sierra EV will offer a combination of the original design with modern styling elements and interior along with an electric powertrain. The EV is likely to source its batteries from the Harrier EV, which is available with the 65kWh and 75kWh battery options. The higher-spec model could also get an optional dual-motor QWD or AWD system.

Tata Motors could also launch the Punch facelift in October 2025. The micro SUV is likely to receive cosmetic changes inside and out; however, it won’t receive any mechanical changes. The updated Tata Punch model is likely to receive new front grille and bumpers along with new set of alloys. Inside the cabin, the SUV could share features with the Nexon. It is expected to get a new steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo in the centre, a revised climate control panel and a digital driver’s display. The SUV will continue to be offered with a 1.2L petrol and CNG fuel options.
Tata Motors is expected to launch the Nexon EV with LEVEL-2 ADAS in September 2025. The updated model will come with features like an adaptive cruise control, lane assist, traffic sign recognition, autonomous emergent braking, auto high beam and others.

If media reports are to be believed, Tata Motors will launch the petrol derivatives of the Harrier and Safari in November 2025. However, few reports claim that launch will take place sometime in the Q1, 2026. Both SUVs will be powered by a new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 168bhp at 5,000rpm and a peak torque of 280Nm between 2,000 and 3,500rpm. Transmission choices could include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT.
