Ford is gearing up for a comeback in India, with the New Endeavour premium SUV. Recently, the new-generation Endeavour was spotted in Chennai while being transported on a flatbed, hinting at its arrival in the Indian market. It is likely to be brought via the CBU route. Expect the price to be somewhere around Rs 55 to 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The latest iteration of the Endeavour will showcase several design updates, including a new grille design, prominent headlights, and a redesigned bonnet, bumpers, and tailgate. Notably, it will have a 50 mm longer wheelbase compared to its predecessor, enhancing both stability and interior space.
Inside, the upcoming SUV will highlight a revamped dashboard featuring a sleek portrait-style 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument cluster measuring 12.4 inches.
Exciting additions could include a new 3-spoke steering wheel, wireless device charging pad, heated & ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, a 360-degree camera, and more.
The powertrain options are yet to be revealed for the India-spec model. However, for the international market, the New Ford Endeavour offers a range of engine choices to suit different preferences. Among these options are two variants of a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine, available in both single and twin-turbo configurations. Additionally, buyers can opt for a robust 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel mill or a 2.3-litre turbo-petrol unit.
