Adding to the e-tron lineup, Audi has launched a rear-wheel drive performance variant of the electric Q6 SUV. With a 100 kWh battery pack, the Q6 e-tron performance joins hands with its siblings like the Q6 e-tron quattro (285 kW) and the SQ6 e-tron (380 kW).
The Audi Q6 e-tron performance boasts a Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) range of up to 641 kilometres, the longest in the electrified family. Further, Audi has equipped the eSUV with ultra-fast charging capable of adding a 260-kilometre range in 10 minutes provided a compatible charging station.
Its 240 kW (322 horsepower) Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) can clock the 100 kilometres per hour mark from a standstill in 6.6 seconds, the brand with the four rings claimed.
Underpinned by the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform, the Q6 e-tron lineup is now widened with EVs offering various drive systems and will be used in the upcoming cars from Audi. The same architecture is shared with the Porsche Macan electric under the Volkswagen group.
