Based on the same CMP platform as Citroen C3 Also shares the same powertrain as the C3 hatchback India launch is yet to be confirmed
Fiat has revealed its all-new Grande Panda, previously known as Panda SUV. The new fourth-gen model features a retro design and dual powertrain choices. It is built on the same CMP platform used for the Citroen C3 hatchback, available in India.

Design-wise, the new Grande Panda will retain its boxy design as its predecessor. However, there are a few design elements that will make it look distinctive from the original Panda. It is likely to feature a pixelated X-pattern for the LED headlights and tail lights, rugged boxy fenders with plastic cladding, four-spoke 17-inch wheels, and roof rails, among others.
Even in terms of dimensions, the Grande Panda will measure 3.99 m in length, making it 3m longer than its previous-gen model.

Fiat has used the Common Modular Platform (CMP) for the new Grande Panda. The same platform is used for the Citroen C3 and eC3. Although the powertrain details for the latest Panda SUV are yet to be revealed, we can expect it to be offered with the same powertrain as the C3 and eC3.
The Grande Panda could be offered with a global-spec C3 electric powertrain, offering a range of 200 km and 327 km. There could be a 100-hp mild hybrid setup and a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine.
It is said that the new Grande Panda will make its arrival in Europe first. As for India, there is no confirmation for the same. Further, Fiat says, the current Panda model which is available on sale in Europe (also referred to as the Pandina) will remain in its production until 2027 at least.
