Honda Elevate facelift expected to launch in October 2026 Could get a bigger touchscreen, 360-degree camera and ventilated seats ADAS upgrades expected, while the 1.5-litre petrol engine may remain unchanged
Honda is preparing to give the Elevate its first major update since the SUV was launched in India in 2023. The facelift is expected to arrive later this year, with reports pointing towards an October 2026 launch. The update is expected to bring changes to the design, cabin and safety features, while the engine is likely to remain unchanged.
Mild Design Changes Expected
The Honda Elevate facelift is expected to get a few styling changes, but it will not be a completely new-looking SUV. The overall shape and proportions are likely to remain the same. The front and rear bumpers could be revised, along with the alloy wheels and lighting elements. The tail-lamps may also get new lighting patterns, while the front end could get some design changes inspired by Honda's newer models.

Bigger Touchscreen and New Features
The cabin could get some of the more noticeable updates. The facelift is expected to feature a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, similar to the unit offered in the updated Honda City. Honda could also add new upholstery and cabin trim to give the interior a fresher look. The basic dashboard layout, however, is likely to remain largely unchanged.
The company could also add a 360-degree camera and ventilated front seats as factory-fitted features. These features are currently available through Honda's accessories, but could become part of the standard equipment on higher variants.
ADAS Could Get Better
The current Elevate already gets Honda Sensing, which includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and autonomous emergency braking. With the new City getting a more advanced Level 2 ADAS system, Honda is expected to bring similar upgrades to the Elevate facelift. The exact features and their availability across variants have not been confirmed yet. This could be one of the most important updates for the SUV, especially as several rivals are now offering more advanced driver assistance features.
Engine Likely to Remain the Same
There are not expected to be any major changes under the bonnet. The Elevate facelift is likely to continue with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The engine currently produces 121hp and is offered with a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox.
Honda had earlier been linked with a possible hybrid version of the Elevate. However, current reports suggest that the facelift will continue with the existing petrol engine and will not get a hybrid powertrain.
Expected Price and Rivals
The facelifted Elevate will continue to compete in the mid-size SUV segment against models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Victoris, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
The updated SUV is expected to remain in the Rs 11 lakh to Rs 17 lakh price range, although the final prices will be announced closer to the launch.
