Kia India has updated the Carens Clavis lineup with the introduction of a new HTX(O) variant and six-seat options across select variants. These fresh additions bring upgraded features and six-seater configurations. Prices for these new variants start at Rs. 16.28 lakh (ex-showroom). This becomes an attractive option for families and those looking for premium features in an affordable package.
The new HTX(O) variant is positioned above the regular HTX trim to offer a more premium experience. It comes equipped with a Bose 8-speaker music system for superior sound quality. The variant also includes drive modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport). Other notable features include a smart key remote, engine start and EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) with auto hold for easy and safe parking.
This variant is available exclusively with the 1.5L turbo-petrol engine paired with the 7-speed DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission).

In response to customer demand, Kia has introduced six-seat versions in select variants of the Carens Clavis, making it even more versatile. Now, the HTK+, HTK+(O), and HTX(O) variants can be opted with a six-seat layout, featuring captain seats for the middle row. Previously, this feature was only available in the top-spec HTX Plus variant, which was exclusively available with a turbo-petrol engine.
What’s more, the HTK+ 6-seat variant can now be specced with a diesel engine, allowing customers who prefer diesel power to enjoy the convenience and comfort of a six-seat layout.
