Kia Carens CNG is available in a single variant, priced at Rs 12.13 lakh Carens Clavis CNG is offered in two variants
Kia India has launched the factory-fitted Carens CNG and Carens Clavis at Rs 12.39 lakh and Rs 12.13 lakh, respectively, ex-showroom. The new factory-fitted CNG variants combine the practicality and versatility of Kia's three-row portfolio with the convenience and efficiency of CNG mobility.
With the CNG system integrated as a factory-fitted offering, Kia aims to provide customers with a convenient and reliable ownership proposition suited to everyday urban commuting as well as family mobility requirements.

By introducing factory-fitted CNG options on the Carens and Carens Clavis, we are responding to this demand with an integrated offering backed by Kia. Both models have established a strong proposition around space, comfort and family-focused practicality, and the addition of CNG further broadens their appeal while giving customers greater freedom to choose.”
The CNG system features a 60-litre CNG tank and has been engineered to complement the vehicle's existing powertrain and packaging, while retaining a spare tyre even with the integration of the CNG kit. The CNG versions get additional features such as Distance to Empty (DTE) logic in instrument cluster (CNG Mode), CNG Fuel change switch, Bigger 16inch Front Disc Brakes delivering convenient and practical ownership experience for everyday mobility.
Kia Carens and Carens Clavis CNG, based on 1.5L 6MT, will come with a factory-fitted CNG kit. Both variants also feature 16-inch wheels and 16-inch front disc brakes along with CNG-specific engine calibration and modified suspension. The 3-row MPVs also get a CNG fuel change switch and 4.2-inch colour TFT MID with CNG DTE logic. There is a modified third-row Seat-Back Frame, which improves the recline angle.
The new Carens CNG and Carens Clavis CNG are powered by a 1.5L petrol engine, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, producing 96hp and 123Nm of torque in CNG mode. Both models feature a 60-litre CNG tank alongside the petrol fuel system.
