Kia India is all set to launch its new Syros on February 1. The sub 4m has also started reaching dealerships. Ahead of its official arrival in the market, the South Korean brand has revealed its mileage figures. Kia Syros offers the best mileage of 20.75 kmpl with the diesel manual unit. Let's know more about the fuel efficiency of the new Kia Syros compact SUV.

The Syros takes power from two engines. The 1.5-litre diesel engine (paired to 6-peed MT/6-speed AT) produces the maximum power of 114 bhp and 250 Nm. The other 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit can churn out 117 bhp and 172 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT.
As for the mileage, Kia Syros can deliver the best fuel efficiency of 20.75 kmpl with diesel manual and 17.65 kmpl using a diesel automatic. Its petrol manual unit can offer the claimed range of 18.20 kmpl while its petrol DCT can return 17.68 kmpl.

The South Korean automaker is expected to price the new Syros somewhere between Rs 9 lakh to Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). As for the rivals, the compact SUV could give great competition to Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Creta, and Tata Nexon.
