Lamborghini to launch the Huracan Tecnica in India; The RWD supercar gets a V10 engine; To be positioned between the EVO and track-focused STO in its line-up.
Best on-road drivability meets track-focused dynamics in the All New Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica. Scheduled to launch on 25th of August 2022 in India, this will sit in between the powerful EVO and the track focused STO in its line-up.
The Huracan Tecnica is a 640bhp monster powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 petrol engine. The V10 in the Tecnica is a straight lift-off from the Huracan STO. The supercar completes the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 3.2 seconds and 0-200 kmph in 9.1 seconds. The four-wheeler is capable of hitting a top speed of 325 kmph.
While it misses out on some aero dynamic bits from the STO, it is 10 kilograms lighter than the track car. This translates into a power-to-weight ratio of 470 bhp/tonne. To put this insane power down, it gets a Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) with 3 drive modes namely Strada, Sport and Corsa. This LDVI system features adaptive dampers, and torque vectoring rear differential. To further enhance the stability of the supercar during high-speed runs, it gets rear-wheel steering along with a highly intuitive performance traction control system.
The four-wheeler runs on massive 20-inch lightweight wheels shod with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tyres. To help slow the monster on the track, the company has equipped it with carbon ceramic brakes.
In terms of design, the Huracan Tecnica takes design cues from Sian FKP 37 Hypercar. It also borrows details from the STO and EVO while the tail lamp design is same as the regular Huracan. However, the exhaust and rear spoiler are more aggressive on the Tecnica.
The Huracan Tecnica will lock horns with the Porsche 911 GT3 in India and we expect it to be priced around Rs 4.5 crore (ex-showroom).
