The teaser reveals that the BE 6 Sporteq will receive big updates inside the cabin. It will come with a triple screen setup as seen on the XUV 7XO and XEV 9S. The triple screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch central infotainment unit, a 12.3-inch digital instrument console and a 12.3-inch dedicated co-occupant entertainment screen. The same setup is currently available with the XEV 9e, XUV 7XO and XEV 9S.

The existing BE 6 is equipped with a dual screen setup. The new triple screen setup is likely to be offered only on the Sporteq variant, which will be the new top-spec variant in the lineup. Adding to it, the SUV will get a new upholstery for seats and dashboard.

Another big update is the redesigned dashboard, which now appears more practical than the halo-like look that surrounds the driver. It is quite difficult to access the wireless charger and USB Type-C ports from the passenger side. It is expected that the practical and traditionally designed dashboard will also be offered across the BE 6 range.

Battery Choices

Mahindra hasn’t released the specifications of the BE Sporteq variant. It is expected to be offered with a 79 kWh battery pack with a rear-axle-mounted electric motor. The combined power and torque output stands at 286hp and 380Nm, respectively. The SUV is claimed to offer a range of up to 682km on a single charge.
