Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Full Price List: BaaS Starts at Rs 11.45 lakh

BE 6 Sporteq priced between Rs 19.45 lakh and Rs 26.95 lakh. BaaS prices start at Rs 11.45 lakh plus 3.75/km.  It gets a triple screen dashboard.

After introducing the Scorpio Lifestyler, Mahindra has now launched the BE 6 Sporteq in the country. The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq lineup is available in 8 variants, priced between Rs 19.45 lakh and Rs 26.95 lakh, ex-showroom. It is basically the rebranded BE 6, featuring a new 70kWh battery pack and connected car tech along with a triple screen dashboard layout.


The new Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq also gets a revised variant lineup. Mahindra has also introduced the Battery as a Service (BaaS) pricing for the BE 6 Sporteq range. Deliveries for the Coupe SUV will begin on August 26, 2017.

The new BE6 Sporteq is available in 8 variants, and three battery options - 59kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh. The Sporteq 59 kWh range starts at Rs 19.45 lakh and goes up to Rs 21.95 lakh, ex-showroom. The 70kWh battery pack is available with Three and Three+ packs - priced at Rs 22.95 lakh and Rs 23.95 lakh, respectively.  The 79 kWh battery is available with three variants - Formula E Edition, Three+ and Four/Launch Edition - priced at Rs 24.45 lakh, Rs 24.95 lakh and Rs 25.95 lakh, respectively.


The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq directly rivals the Tata Sierra EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, VinFast VF6 and others in the category. The company has also introduced the BaaS with the BE 6 Sporteq. In this scheme, buyers purchase the vehicle separately and pay a rent for battery. The BE 6 Sporteq ONE variant costs Rs 11.45 lakh + Rs 3.75/km battery subscription fees under the BaaS scheme. The TWO variant is priced at Rs 12.95 lakh + Rs 3.75/km.


The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq looks largely identical to the outgoing BE 6. The company has introduced the new Launch Edition, which comes with an exclusive Graphite Storm exterior paint finish. The SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and comes with full LED lighting setup. It gets flush-fitting door handles and a fixed panoramic glass roof.


The cabin has received majority of the changes. It comes with a triple 12.3-inch displays, which we have already seen on the XEV 9e and XEV 9s. The connected screen comprising a central infotainment unit, a digital instrument console and a dedicated co-occupant entertainment screen. The SUV also has a revised dashboard with a cleaner horizontal layout instead of halo-like loop around the driver. The wireless charger and USB Type-C ports are now easily accessible. The Sporteq also gets a dual-tone black-and-tan cabin theme along with a revised upholstery and trims.

Mahindra has also introduced six new “TEQ” technology suits. The TEQ_Me automatically recognises the driver and loads a personalised user profile. The TEQ_Talk with Google Gemini integration, and TEQ_xting allows user to display personalised messages on the rear tailgate display.


The TEQ_Drive adds new features like custom drive modes, Tribe Drive, Drift mode, Acceleration Boost and the new Revive SOS function. The Revive SOS function provides enough energy to drive up to 13 km to the nearest charging station after the battery hits 0 charging status.


The new Sporteq is available with three battery options - 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh.
