Mahindra's latest collection of electric SUVs has significantly impacted the auto industry. Both BE 6 and XEV 9e made their debut last month with modern designs and futuristic interiors. These electric SUVs will also make their appearance at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 with a full price list. Ahead of that, the brand has started the test drives for select customers.
The BE 6 will start arriving at dealerships by the end of January 2025 while deliveries are scheduled to begin between February and March 2025.
The homegrown automaker has only revealed the initial pricing of the new BE 6. The electric SUV price starts at Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model (Pack One). The other two variants (Pack Two and Pack Three) pricing will be revealed at the 2025 Auto Expo.
The all-electric BE 6 gets two battery packs with a capacity of 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The smaller unit is capable of traveling up to 535 km while the larger battery pack offers the best range of 682 km on a single full charge. With the Rear-Wheel-Drive (RWD) system, the BE 6 can generate a maximum power of 230 bhp/380 Nm with a smaller battery and 285 bhp/380 Nm with the larger battery unit. These electric SUVs get three driving modes - Range, Everyday, and Race.
