The new-gen Mahindra Bolero has been spotted testing again, revealing some interesting details. Media reports claim that the next model will be based on a new monocoque multi-energy platform - New Flexible Architecture (NFA), which will reveal on 15th August 2025.
The latest report claims that the new-gen Mahindra Bolero will come with ADAS suite, which we have seen on the XUV 3XO. Adding to it, the front styling of the new Bolero seems inspired by the new Thar and Scorpio-N. The spy images reveals the front fascia that houses circular LED headlights, which seems identical to that of Thar.

It has an upright front fascia complementing the boxy design. It has Mahindra’s signature grille with parallel-running slats, which we have already seen on the Scorpio-N. The SUV gets a pronounced bumper with wider air dam, and a clamshell-style bonnet.
The new Bolero retains the boxy silhouette with a fairly simple side profile, featuring large straight beltline, pronounced wheel arches and massive body cladding. It continues to offer a side-hinged door and a tail-gate mounted spare wheel. The SUV seems to ride on large 17-inch or 18-inch wheels.
The new Bolero is reportedly to feature LEVEL 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite, which we have already seen on the Mahindra XUV 3XO. The spotted model seems to have a Radar module on the bumper, hiding behind a thick cloth. However, we believe that this feature could be exclusive to the top-end variant.
The new-gen Mahindra Bolero is likely to get the new 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine that powers the new XUV 3XO. The company could also use the Bolero Neo’s 1.5L diesel engine that produces 100PS and 260Nm of torque, and paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. We believe that Mahindra could introduce a petrol-derivative of the new Bolero.
