The e Vitara will compete with electric SUVs like the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, and Mahindra BE 6. The Tata Curvv EV is priced between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 22.24 lakh, while the MG ZS EV comes in between Rs 17.99 lakh and Rs 20.50 lakh. In terms of performance, it will come with two battery options - a 48.8 kWh and 61.6 kWh, with a claimed range of up to 500 km on a single charge. The e Vitara will be Maruti’s flagship electric SUV, loaded with advanced features. Expect to see a large infotainment screen, Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), 360-degree camera, powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The mid-range variant with the 61 kWh battery (2WD) will offer 174 hp and a range of 428 km. The high-performance 61 kWh AWD version will deliver 184 hp and a range of 394 km.
For the Indian market, the e Vitara is expected to launch with the 61 kWh battery pack, which is capable of offering a range of over 500 km on a single charge, as per ARAI testing. The AWD version, with a dual-motor setup, will be launched later for those seeking better performance and handling in diverse driving conditions.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will come with fast-charging capabilities, allowing for a quick recharge. With DC fast charging, the battery can go from 20% to 80% in less than an hour, making it perfect for long-distance travel where charging time needs to be minimal.
