Skoda has officially confirmed that it will launch updated versions of the Kushaq and Slavia in India. While the Kushaq facelift has already been spotted testing, the Slavia facelift is yet to hit the roads for trials. The refreshed Slavia will come with design changes, an upgraded cabin, and several new premium features, without any changes to its engine lineup.
Skoda Slavia was first introduced in 2022 and quickly became one of the most popular mid-size sedans in India. The facelifted version is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026. Ahead of this, Skoda will also introduce the Octavia RS in the Indian market in 2025.
The 2026 Slavia facelift will sport a refreshed exterior design inspired by Skoda’s new “Modern Solid” styling language. Key updates include:
- Revised front grille
- Tweaked headlamps
- New front and rear bumpers
- Modern LED tail-lights
- Fresh alloy wheel design
The side profile is likely to remain mostly unchanged.
Inside the cabin, Skoda will offer a more premium experience with:
- A larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster
- 360-degree camera system
- New sound system
- Electronic parking brake with auto-hold
- Revised dashboard layout
One of the biggest upgrades in the facelifted Slavia will be the addition of Level 2 ADAS features. These will include:
- Autonomous Emergency Braking
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Lane Keep Assist
- Auto High Beam
Standard safety features will include six airbags, ABS with EBD, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).
While the design and features get a big upgrade, the engine options remain the same as the current model. The facelifted Slavia will continue with:
1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol (115 PS, 178 Nm)
1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol (150 PS, 250 Nm)
Transmission choices will include:
6-speed manual
6-speed torque converter automatic (for 1.0L engine)
7-speed DSG (for 1.5L engine)
