At the beginning of this month, speculations emerged about Tata launching a Dark Edition of the Curvv EV, and now the brand has officially teased the model for the first time, indicating an imminent launch.
While the teaser does not reveal significant details, it is already known that the Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition is expected to debut around the 2025 IPL season, which starts on March 22. Tata is likely to introduce the Dark Edition first for the electric variant, followed by the ICE version. Additionally, the Red Dark Edition is also expected to be launched around the same time.
Tata has yet to fully unveil the Dark Edition of the Curvv EV, but it is expected to feature an all-black theme with an Atlas Black shade. The model could come with 18-inch alloy wheels featuring a dual-tone black and metallic finish. Inside, the cabin is likely to have sporty and elegant styling, with dark-themed shades for the dashboard and upholstery, enhancing its premium appeal.
The Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition is expected to come with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It may also feature a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster with full-screen navigation, an illuminated logo on the steering wheel, ventilated seats, and other premium features.
The Tata Curvv Dark Edition will be available exclusively in the top-end Accomplished variant. It is expected to be offered only with the 55kWh battery pack for the EV, while the ICE versions will include both petrol and diesel powertrains. A DCA gearbox has been confirmed, and a six-speed manual transmission is also likely to be available.
The Tata Curvv Dark Edition is expected to be priced between Rs 16.5 lakh - Rs 19.5 lakh for the petrol variant, while the diesel variant is likely to be priced around Rs 16.8 lakh - Rs 19.6 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
