Tata Motors has announced a new Lifetime HV Battery Warranty for the Curvv EV SUV Coupe and Nexon EV 45 kWh. This warranty is part of Tata's efforts to make electric vehicles (EVs) more reliable and affordable for Indian consumers.
The new warranty is available for both new buyers and current owners of the Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev 45 kWh. Tata Motors first introduced this warranty with the Harrier.ev, and it was well received by customers.
Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said that the warranty helps customers feel confident about owning an EV. He explained that this warranty will make owning a Tata EV a worry-free experience.
One of the main concerns for EV owners is the health and cost of the battery over time. This new warranty takes away that worry, ensuring that owners don't have to worry about high battery replacement costs.
The warranty also helps improve the resale value of the Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev 45 kWh. Owners can also save up to Rs 8-9 lakh over 10 years on running costs, making these EVs a smart choice for many buyers.
Tata Motors is offering an exclusive Rs 50,000 discount for existing Tata EV owners who buy the Curvv.ev or Nexon.ev 45 kWh. This is part of Tata's loyalty program to reward customers for their support.
With this new warranty and loyalty program, Tata Motors is taking a big step toward making electric cars more accessible and reliable for Indian drivers.
