Tata Motors is all set to launch the updated Tiago hatchback in the Indian market tomorrow. The company has already revealed the exterior and interiors of the Tiago and Tiago EV facelifts. Both models receive comprehensive design changes and a more upmarket cabin with a longer list of features. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2026 Tata Tiago and Tiago EV facelift -
The hatchback is currently available in the price bracket of Rs 4.60 lakh to Rs 7.68 lakh. It is likely to receive a slight price hike, and we expect the Tiago facelift to cost somewhere around Rs 5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Tata Tiago EV facelift is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh. Prices for the top-end variants are likely to be increased marginally. Tata Motors could also introduce a Battery-as-a-Service scheme to offer reduced upfront purchase cost.
Tata Tiago Facelift - the updated model will have redesigned front and rear sections. It gets a sleeker LED headlamps with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs, blacked-out grille and lower section of the bumper, and new pixel-shaped LED fog lamps, and a camera pod on the bumper. The side profile looks identical to the current model, except for the new alloys . At the back, the hatchback gets connected LED tail-lights, and new lower bumper.
The Tata Tiago EV facelift will have a redesigned front fascia, featuring sleeker LED headlamps and eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs, closed-off front grille, and new lower bumper. At the back, the electric hatch gets connected tail-lights with multiple vertical LED elements, a rear spoiler and new aero-optimised alloys.

The Tiago facelift will continue to be offered with an 86hp, 1.2L NA petrol engine and a 75.5hp, CNG option with dual-cylinder tech. Transmission choices will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
The existing Tiago EV is offered with 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery packs, paired with 61hp and 75hp electric motors, respectively. While the former offers 223km, the 24kWh battery offers a claimed range of 293km on a single charge. It is expected that the updated model could get a 30kWh battery pack.
