2026 Tata Tiago gets major design and tech upgrades. 360-degree camera and dual screens added for the first time. Tiago EV receives exclusive styling and new features.
Tata Motors is all set to launch the updated 2026 Tata Tiago and Tiago EV on May 28, 2026. The popular hatchbacks are getting a major refresh with a sharper design, new technology, and several premium features that were not available earlier in this segment.
Inspired by Tata’s newer cars like the Altroz and the brand’s latest EV design language, the new Tiago range now looks more modern and feature-packed than before. Here are the top 10 highlights of the upcoming Tiago facelift.
The biggest change inside the cabin is the addition of two floating displays. The new Tiago gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a new digital driver’s display. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also expected.

Tata is introducing a 360-degree camera system, which is a major upgrade for this segment. Cameras placed under the ORVMs and front bumper will help improve visibility while parking and driving in tight spaces.
The older curved dashboard has been replaced with a cleaner layered layout. The new cabin design looks more premium and modern, especially with the gloss-black centre console and redesigned controls.
Rear passengers finally get AC vents and Type-C charging ports, making the Tiago more practical for daily family use.
Instead of touch-based controls, Tata has added physical buttons and rotary knobs for the climate control system. This should make the setup easier to use while driving.
The front-end now looks much sportier with sleeker LED headlamps, eyebrow-style DRLs, and redesigned bumpers. The petrol version gets a black grille, while the EV gets a closed-off body-coloured front panel.
At the rear, Tata has added a connected-style gloss-black strip between the tail-lamps. This gives the hatchback a wider and more premium appearance.
The facelift also gets:
These additions give the Tiago a younger and sportier look.
The Tiago EV gets a few special touches to stand apart from the petrol version. These include:
There are also reports that Tata may introduce a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option to reduce the initial cost of the EV.
The updated Tiago is expected to offer more safety equipment, including:
Mechanically, the petrol and CNG versions will continue with the familiar 1.2-litre Revotron engine producing 86 PS. Manual and AMT gearbox options will continue.
The Tiago EV is expected to retain its 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs, with a claimed range of up to 315 km. Tata may also improve charging speeds with updated battery management.
