Top 3 Sedan Facelifts Coming in 2026 – Slavia, Virtus, City

Skoda Slavia gets LED signals and rear seat massage. VW Virtus gets new bumpers, wheels, and 8-speed automatic. Honda City keeps 1.5L petrol & hybrid engines with small updates.

Even though SUVs are more popular, some mid-sized sedans are still in demand. To stay competitive, three models, including Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, and Honda City, are getting big updates in 2026-27. These updates include new designs, better features, and more tech.

1. Skoda Slavia Facelift

Skoda Slavia facelift is expected around Diwali 2026. It will get LED turn signals, a new front grille, and new alloy wheels. Inside, the sedan will have a 10.25-inch digital display for the driver and rear seat massage, a first for this segment. The engines remain the same - 1.0L 3-cylinder TSI and 1.5L 4-cylinder TSI, with options of 6-speed manual, 8-speed automatic, or 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

2. Volkswagen Virtus Facelift

Volkswagen Virtus is also getting its first major update. Spy images show new bumpers and alloy wheels. The cabin will get tech like the Taigun SUV, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital cluster. The engines are 1.0L and 1.5L turbo petrol, now with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox.

3. Honda City Facelift

Honda City facelift will get minor styling updates inspired by the global Civic. Engine options remain the same: 1.5L petrol with 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT, and the City eHEV hybrid keeps its 1.5L petrol engine with dual electric motors. The updates mainly improve the look and feel inside and outside before the new generation arrives in 2028.
