Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has shared its sales performance for January 2026, reporting a total of 33,880 units sold, compared to 29,371 units in January 2025. This represents a 15% year-on-year growth in total sales. The company continues to see strong demand for its vehicles, with significant sales both in the domestic market and in exports.

In January 2026, Toyota’s domestic sales reached 30,630 units, marking a 17% increase compared to the 26,178 units sold in January 2025. This rise in domestic sales highlights the continued popularity of Toyota’s models, supported by the brand’s reputation for quality, safety, and reliability. TKM’s efforts to provide value-driven and dependable mobility solutions continue to resonate with Indian customers.
Toyota also saw a slight 2% increase in exports, with 3,250 units shipped abroad in January 2026, up from 3,193 units in January 2025. While the export numbers are not as dramatic as the domestic growth, they show that Toyota’s vehicles are still in demand internationally, contributing positively to the company’s overall sales performance.
Commenting on the sales performance, Mr. Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “The year 2026 started on a positive and encouraging note, with continued momentum of our product portfolio and customers trust in our commitment to quality, safety and sustainability. A key highlight during January was the launch of the All-Electric URBAN CRUISER EBELLA, further strengthening our focus on delivering future-ready mobility solutions aligned with evolving customer expectations. This launch marks a significant step in enhancing our value proposition and reinforces our continued support to India’s transition towards carbon neutrality, greener and sustainable mobility.”
