The Indian automobile market has witnessed some of the most anticipated car launches in the previous month including Maruti Suzuki FRONX and MG's smallest electric hatchback the Comet EV. But, this is not the end here; a lot of new car and SUV launches alongside their price announcements are lined up from several car manufacturers. The 5-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny is next in the line to be launched this month. Tata Motors will also populate its CNG model lineup with the Altroz and Punch.

Here is a compiled list of upcoming cars and SUVs that are launching in the next 6 months in India:

Maruti Suzuki Jimny is the most awaited SUV launch of the year, specifically designed for Indian customers with a 5-door body style. It is expected to arrive in the Indian car market sometime this month. The company will launch its off-road SUV in the price range of Rs 10 lakh to 12.70 lakh (ex-showroom). It is said that the SUV can provide a mileage of 18 kmpl. Other notable features of Maruti Jimny include body-coloured door handles, gunmetal gray grille with chrome plating, tailgate mounted spare wheel, clamshell bonnet, drip rails, back door defogger, a 9.0-inch touchscreen Smartplay Pro+ Infotainment System, Arkamys audio setup, and more.

Tata Motors will soon bring in the CNG version of its Punch SUV. This model was also showcased during the Delhi Auto Expo 2023. According to the brand, the Punch CNG will be launched later this year. It will get a factory-fitted CNG kit and the twin-cylinder technology which splits the tank in two located under the boot floor. This has been done to offer more space within the boot. Apart from that, there is no information about its variant details. Prices will also be revealed during its launch which will take place later this year.

Nissan X-Trail is a premium SUV that is expected to launch sometime in July 2023. The price of the SUV we believe will hover between Rs 30 lakh to Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be offered with e-Power technology which promises a higher fuel economy. Apart from that, the X-Trail will feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an eight-way adjustable driver seat, ABS with EBD, multiple airbags, signature V-Motion grille, silver roof rails, and a lot more interesting equipment.

Kia Seltos is a subcompact SUV which made its entry in India back in 2019. Now, the South-Korean automaker is planning to launch a facelifted version of Seltos by July 2023. With the facelift, the SUV will provide new headlamps with improved LED DRLs extending into the redesigned grille. Moreover, the 2023 Seltos will get a twin-screen layout and revised centre console on the inside. It might even come fitted with equipment like an ADAS suite, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more. Expect the SUV to have a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra and Mahindra is likely to launch its Bolero Neo Plus in the month of October 2023. The company is likely to price its SUV in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). It will retain its overall design of the standard Bolero Neo model. In terms of features, the Bolero Neo Plus will come equipped with a 9-seat configuration, powered windows, a rear defogger, cruise control, and an infotainment system with a 6-speaker setup.

The new compact SUV, Citroen C3 Aircross recently made its global debut. In India, it will go on sale in the second half of this year. Prices of the SUV might start from Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of design and features, the C3 Aircross SUV will provide LED DRLs, split headlamp setup, alloy wheels, a high-mounted stop lamp, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ABS, EBD, and 5 fast-charging USB sockets.

The Exter will be the smallest SUV from Hyundai Motor India which is expected to launch in August 2023. The SUV is designed to draw inspiration from the natural world. With its imposing front look and unique Signature H-LED DRLs, the Exter promises to provide an SUV-oriented design. As stated by the brand, the Hyundai Exter will empower people with a smart mobility solution. The expected price of the SUV might fall in the range of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
