Audi India has confirmed that the RS Q8 facelift will be launched in the country on February 17, 2025. It is basically the performance oriented version of the Q8 SUV that's already on sale in India. The 2025 Audi RS Q8 comes with subtle design changes in-line with the revised Q8 SUV. It was first unveiled for global markets in June 2024.
In the global markets, the updated RS Q8 is available in two variants - Standard and Performance. The Audi RS Q8 Performance variant is the quickest production SUV around the Nürburgring in Germany.
The standard Audi Q8 SUV is available at a price tag of Rs 1.17 crore (ex-showroom). We expect the RS Q8 to cost somewhere around Rs 2 crore to 2.5 crore. It will rival the likes of the Lamborghini Urus SE and Porsche Cayenne GTS in India.
The 2025 Audi RS Q8 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that is capable of producing 592bhp and 800Nm of torque. In the Performance variant, the power and torque output increases to 631bhp and 850Nm, respectively. The 2025 Audi RS Q8 facelift is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 3.8 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.
The RS Q8 Performance accelerates to 100kmph from zero in just 3.6 seconds. As an option, Customers can increase the top speed to 280kmph or 305kmph in global markets. The performance-oriented SUV comes with adaptive air suspension with controlled damping, active roll stabilization, all-wheel steering and high-torque electric spindle drive.
The 2025 Audi RS Q8 facelift comes with subtle design changes and an upgraded interior. It comes with a revised single-frame grille with octagonal design elements along with revised Matrix LED headlamps. The revised front bumper now houses a larger lower air cavity. The performance-oriented SUV rides on revised 22-inch alloy wheels.
The 2025 Audi RS Q8 facelift interior looks largely identical to the standard Q8. However, Audi has added sportier-looking upholstery and black interior scheme. It gets dual-screen setup and four-zone climate control.
