Audi SQ8 priced at Rs 1.78 crore in India. Gets 507hp V8 engine with 0-100 kmph in 4.1 seconds. Sits between Q8 and RS Q8 in Audi’s lineup.
Audi India has launched the New Audi SQ8 in the country at an introductory price of Rs 1.78 crore (ex-showroom). This new performance SUV sits between the standard Q8 and the more powerful RS Q8 in the brand’s lineup. Bookings for the SUV are now open.
The SQ8 is positioned as a middle-ground option for buyers who want more performance than the regular Q8 but at a lower price than the RS Q8. The standard Q8 is priced at Rs 1.13 crore, while the top-end RS Q8 Performance costs Rs 2.34 crore. With this pricing, the SQ8 is Rs 65 lakh more expensive than the Q8 but Rs 56 lakh more affordable than the RS version.

The 2026 Audi SQ8 comes with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, which is a slightly toned-down version of the RS Q8’s motor. It produces 507hp and 770Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system.
In simple terms, this SUV is quick. It can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph. To improve driving feel, it also gets air suspension, rear axle steering and active roll stabilisation.
The New Audi SQ8 looks similar to the standard Q8 but gets sportier touches. It comes with Matrix LED headlights, larger air intakes and silver accents on the grille. On the side, you get 21-inch alloy wheels as standard, with an option to upgrade to 22 inches.
At the rear, the SUV gets connected OLED tail-lights, a sporty diffuser and quad exhaust tips. Overall, it keeps the coupe-style SUV look but adds a more aggressive stance.
The New-gen SQ8 is a large SUV with a strong road presence. It measures over 5 metres in length and comes with a wheelbase of nearly 3 metres. It also offers 604 litres of boot space, making it practical for long trips.
Inside, the New Audi SQ8 2026 gets a premium all-black cabin with ‘S’ badges across the interior. The dashboard layout is similar to the standard Q8, but with added sporty details.
It features a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an additional 8.6-inch screen for climate control. Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, wireless charging and powered front seats with memory.
Safety is also well covered with 8 airbags, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
In the luxury performance SUV space, the 2026 Audi SQ8 competes with models like the Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupe and the Porsche Cayenne GTS. These rivals also focus on strong performance and premium features.
