2025 Mahindra Scorpio-N teased on social media handle It will get ADAS tech Few variants could get a panoramic sunroof
Mahindra is all set to launch the 2025 Scorpio-N SUV in the country. The company has released a teaser of an upcoming feature for the Mahindra Scorpio N. It is clearly visible that the teaser reveals the new feature will be the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Adding to it, the updated model could receive a panoramic sunroof.
The short teaser shows an empty highway with the lane lines highlighting, mimicking the lane assist system in the ADAS tech. The teaser comes with a tagline ‘Power Always Stays On Course’, which further confirms that the new Scorpio-N will have an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
Details about the features are yet to be revealed, but we believe that the Scorpio-N will share the LEVEL-2 ADAS tech with the XUV700 and the Thar Roxx. The ADAS features will include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, auto high beam and more.
The higher variants of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N will also come equipped with a panoramic sunroof. The outgoing model gets a single-pane sunroof, which we believe could be offered on the lower variants. The outgoing model gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which could be replaced by a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen unit.
Other features could include a 7-inch multi-info display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, and a 12-speaker Sony sound system. The SUV could also get a digital driver’s display and a dolby atmos sound system.
The SUV will continue to offer 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), driver’s drowsiness detection, all-wheel disc brakes, TPMS, hill hold assist, hill descent control and front and rear parking sensors as safety features.
The new Mahindra Scorpio-N will continue to be offered with the existing 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engine. The turbocharged petrol engine produces 203hp and 370Nm of torque with MT and 380Nm with AT. The diesel engine offers two states of tune - 130hp/300Nm with RWD and 175hp/370Nm with 4WD. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
The Scorpio-N is available in the price bracket of Rs 14 lakh to Rs 24.95 lakh. It is expected that the new features like ADAS and Panoramic Sunroof will increase its price by up to Rs 1 lakh. We believe that the 2025 Mahindra Scorpio-N could cost around Rs 14 lakh to Rs 25.5 lakh.
