Scorpio N pickup expected to be shown closer to production BE 6 Sporteq to get a triple-screen dashboard Scorpio N pickup likely to rival Toyota Hilux BE 6 Sporteq could use the 79kWh battery pack
Mahindra first previewed its pickup truck in 2023 with the Global Pik Up Concept. Since then, several test vehicles have been spotted on Indian roads. The upcoming pickup is expected to make its next major appearance at the August 15 event, this time in a design closer to the production version. The pickup is likely to share its styling and mechanical components with the Scorpio N, but could feature a more rugged appearance and a longer load bed.
Mahindra is expected to carry over the Scorpio N's existing powertrain options. The petrol version could use the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 203hp, while the diesel version could get the 2.2-litre engine producing 175hp. Both engines are expected to be offered with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Four-wheel drive is also likely to be available.

The other major reveal will be the BE 6 Sporteq. Unlike the current BE 6, the new variant is expected to get a triple-screen setup, including a dedicated display for the front passenger. This layout is already seen on the XEV 9e and XEV 9S.
Mahindra is also expected to redesign the dashboard by removing the large divider between the front seats. This should make the wireless charging area and USB Type-C ports easier for the passenger to access.
The BE 6 Sporteq is likely to become the new top-spec version. It could use the 79kWh battery pack with a rear-mounted motor producing 286hp and 380Nm. The same setup currently claims an MIDC range of 683km. The existing BE 6 79kWh Pack Three costs Rs 26.9 lakh (ex-showroom), so the Sporteq is expected to carry a slight premium.
The Scorpio N pickup will take Mahindra into the lifestyle pickup segment and could become a direct rival to the Toyota Hilux. Meanwhile, the BE 6 Sporteq will strengthen Mahindra's electric SUV range with a more premium cabin and additional technology. More details, including final specifications and prices, are expected to be announced on August 15, 2026.
