2026 Mercedes V-Class deliveries by end of March 2026 To rival Toyota Vellfire Rides on 3430mm long wheelbase
Mercedes-Benz has launched the new V-Class luxury MPV in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 1.4 crore, ex-showroom. Deliveries for the new luxurious MPV will start by the end of March 2026. It will directly rival the Lexus LM and Toyota Vellfire. The new Mercedes V-Class is basically the upgraded version of the previous V-Class, featuring several significant design and interior changes along with a new petrol engine.
In terms of proportions, the 2026 Mercedes V-Class is 5370mm in length, 1928mm in width and 1880mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3430mm. This is the longest wheelbase in any Mercedes car in our market. It is available in 5 exterior colour choices, including Obsidian Black, High-Tech Silver, Alpine Grey, Sodalite Blue and Crystal White.
The new luxury VAN comes with AMG Line styling as standard, featuring a three-pointed star-studded grille, signature motifs on the blanked-off air dams, multi-beam LED headlamps with daytime running lamps and new striking bumper.
It comes with a typical cab-forward design with side having plain and smooth surfaces. It comes with an electrically operated doors at the back. It rides on dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels. At the back, the MPV gets an electrically operated tailgate, and LED tail-lights. The rear glass can be opened, which allows customers to store small bags and groceries without opening the tailgate.

The new V-Class is available with both 4 and 6-seat options. The 4-seater model has two captain seats in the last row, which allows customers to access extendable legroom along with cooling, heating and massage functions. The six-seater model gets two middle-row setups, including the traditional forward-facing layout. Customers can also opt for the one variant with second-row seats facing the third-row.
The new luxury VAN gets Airmatic air suspension with adaptive damping as standard. In terms of features, the MPV gets 650W, 15-speaker Burmester audio system with Dolby Atmos, sunshades for rear occupants, 12.-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, and powered and ventilated front seats.
For safety and security, the MPV gets 7 airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a 360-degree surround view camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, auto dimming IRVM, a driver monitoring system with a camera and ADAS tech.
The 2026 V-Class is available with two engine options, including a 231hp, 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo petrol with mild-hybrid assist and a 237hp, 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo diesel. Both powertrains are mated to a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
