2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Launch in August – New 8-Speed AT & Premium Features

The Slavia facelift will get new styling, bigger digital cluster and new features. It will retain the existing TSI engines, likely to get a new 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Earlier this year, Skoda Auto launched the Kushaq facelift with minimal exterior and interior updates, additional features and a new automatic gearbox. The Czech automaker is now gearing up to introduce the Slavia facelift in August 2026, with its market launch expected shortly thereafter. The updated sedan is currently doing test rounds and has been spotted multiple times revealing several details.

More Features

Spy shots indicate that the new 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift will receive a larger 10.2-inch digital instrument console along with a new cabin theme, revised upholstery and massaging rear seats. Reports also suggest that the facelifted model could be benefited with Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and a panoramic sunroof. The central touchscreen infotainment system, a two-spoke steering wheel and most other features will be carried forward from the pre-facelift version.

Improved Styling

Most of the cosmetic changes will be made at the front end. The new Skoda Slavia 2026 facelift will feature a larger and newly-designed grille, a sportier bumper, LED headlamps with revised internals and new LED DLs. Other design highlights will include newly-designed 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, revised rear bumper, new LED taillamps and illuminated Skoda lettering on the tailgate.

Same TSI Petrol Engines

Mechanically, the new 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is expected to remain unchanged. The midsize sedan will continue to feature the 115bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and 150bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engines. The current model lineup is available with three gearbox choices - a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed DCT automatic (reserved for the 1.5L petrol variants). However, the facelifted version is likely to get a new 8-speed torque convertor automatic transmission replacing the existing 6-speed automatic unit.

Minor Price Hike

Skoda is likely to increase the prices of the updated Slavia model lineup. The current model is priced between Rs 10 lakh – Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). In the midsize sedan segment, the new Skoda Slavia 2026 facelift will continue to rival the Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Volkswagen Virtus.
