MG Motor India is ready to launch 3 new premium cars in the next 3 months in the country. The company will introduce the Cyberster 2-door electric sports car, a 7-seater M9 MPV and a 3-row Majestor premium SUV. All three models were showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January.
The upcoming electric sports car will be sold exclusively through the MG Select premium showrooms. The Cyberster will be the most affordable electric sports car in our market, with an estimated price of around Rs 55-60 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes fitted with a 77kWh battery pack and dual electric motors with an AWD (all-wheel drive) system. The system offers 510bhp and 725Nm of torque, and is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 3.2 seconds.
The MG Cyberster is claimed to offer a range of 580km on a full charge, CLTC cycle. The suspension setup of the EV includes a front double wishbone at the front and a five-link independent unit at the rear. In terms of features, the electric sports car gets a 10.25-inch driver's display, and two 7-inch screens, HVAC system with touch-sensitive control buttons. It gets ADAS suite, a 360-degree surround view camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bose sound system, 4-way adjustable leather-wrapped steering wheel, 6-way adjustable driver seat with memory, TPMS and others.
The M9 will be a 3-row premium electric MPV, which will come as an electric alternative to the likes of the Toyota Vellfire and the Kia Carnival. This electric MPV measures 5270mm in length, 2000mm in width and 1840mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3200mm. This luxury EV will come with 6 or 7 seat layout. In terms of features, the MG M9 MPV gets a panoramic sunroof, a larger free-standing infotainment screen with a climate control panel below, powered front and second-row seats with ventilation and massage function.

The MPV supports fast charging up to 125 kW DC charger, which charges the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
The Majestor is MG's fresh attempt to challenge the dominance of the Toyota Fortuner. The 3-row SUV will be positioned as a premium offering and will sit above the Gloster SUV on sale in our market. The SUV will be powered by the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 218bhp and 480Nm of torque. It is likely to come with the on-demand four-wheel drive system with selectable drive modes. Transmission duties will be performed by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
