Next-gen Kia Telluride global debut on November 20, 2025 It will be revealed at the 2025 LA Auto Show The SUV will come with a hybrid powertrain
Kia has released a new teaser video that celebrates the legacy of the brand’s flagship SUV, the Telluride. The teaser also confirms that the next-gen Kia Telluride 3-row SUV will make its global debut on November 20, 2025, which will be the beginning of the 2025 LA Auto Show.
The official teaser presents a nostalgic look back at West Point, Georgia, where Kia rolled the first Telluride from its production line seven years ago. Kia says that “Seven years ago, the first Telluride SUV was designed and assembled in America. The people of West Point, GA, set out to build something nothing short of great. But they didn’t stop there.”
The next-gen Kia Telluride will come with major changes in terms of design, technology, and performance. The company has started testing the new-gen Telluride, which suggests that the new model will adopt an even more angular silhouette. The SUV will have Kia’s Star Map signature for the LED headlights, DRLs and tail-lights. The new model could share styling elements with the fully electric Kia EV9.
The new-gen Kia Telluride will come with a completely redesigned interiors, featuring new dashboard, a dual-screen interface, a new steering and an HUD. It could get a dual dash cams, which we have already seen on the Hyundai Palisade.
The 2026 Kia Telluride is likely to be powered by a 287hp, 3.5-litre, V6 engine. For the first time, the SUV will feature a turbocharged 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine with two electric motors that offer a combined power and torque output of 329hp and 460Nm, respectively.
