BMW India has launched the 50 Jahre Edition of the 3 Series, available in two trims - 330Li M Sport and M340i. These limited-run models mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic BMW 3 Series. Both variants are locally produced at BMW’s Chennai plant, with production restricted to just 50 units each. Buyers can book them exclusively through the BMW Online Shop.
BMW 330Li M Sport 50 Jahre Edition - Rs 64 lakh (ex-showroom)
BMW M340i 50 Jahre Edition - Rs 76.90 lakh (ex-showroom)
The 330Li M Sport 50 Jahre Edition comes with sporty styling elements such as:
- M High Gloss Shadow Line finish
- Carbon fibre trim accents
- Special ‘1/50’ laser engraving on the B-pillar
Inside, it gets:
- Head-up display with 3D navigation
- Carbon fibre inserts
- Electrically adjustable seats
- Wide curved display with iDrive OS 8.5
Powering the sedan is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The car can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 6.2 seconds.
The M340i 50 Jahre Edition stands out with:
- Blacked-out fender badges, hubcaps and rear badging
- Laser-engraved exclusivity marks
- M Performance accessories including a custom key fob, red steering wheel marker and carbon fibre trims
- Jet Black 19-inch alloys with red brake callipers
Under the hood, it packs a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, producing 374 hp and 500 Nm. This allows a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 4.4 seconds.

Both editions come with exclusive paint options and Vernasca leather upholstery. The M340i also includes:

As a special gesture, buyers of the M340i 50 Jahre Edition will also get a 1:18 scale model of the legendary BMW 3.0 CSL.
