Citroen India has recently unveiled its first coupe SUV - the Basalt. Along with this new offering, the Czech automaker showcased two of its existing models - the C3 and C3 Aircross with updated features. Slated to launch in the coming weeks, both vehicles will come with a revised equipment list and boosted safety features.
Citroen C3 will now come with new exterior features that are missing in the current model. The updated model will offer the projector LED headlights, along with the turn indicators integrated into the wing mirrors. Other features include auto folding ORVMs, automatic climate control, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and six airbags as standard.
Similar to C3, the C3 Aircross gets the LED projector headlamps, auto-folding ORVMS, a larger, sliding front armrest, automatic climate control, six airbags, and a 7-inch digital instrument display. Even the rear power window switches are now moved from the centre console to the door pads.
The prices for the updated models are yet to be revealed. Since both models will come with new features and boosted safety, we can expect a price hike over the existing models. Currently, the C3 stands at Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 9 lakh while the C3 Aircross is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.11 lakh (ex-showroom).
