Around 500 premium vehicles arranged for BRICS Summit 2026 Mercedes GLS, Toyota Vellfire, Kia Carnival and BMW 5 Series deployed Vehicles to transport world leaders and delegates across New Delhi
India is gearing up to host the BRICS Summit 2026 in New Delhi, with extensive arrangements being made for the movement of world leaders, foreign delegates and senior officials. As part of the preparations, a fleet of around 500 premium vehicles has been arranged by Punia Travels for the two-day event.
The fleet includes luxury SUVs, premium MPVs and executive sedans that will be used to transport high-profile guests across the capital. Among the vehicles deployed for delegate movement are the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450, Toyota Vellfire, Kia Carnival and BMW 5 Series.
The large fleet has been prepared to meet the transportation needs of foreign dignitaries, ministers, diplomats and other senior guests attending the summit. The vehicles will operate as part of a coordinated transport network during the event, with a focus on comfort, convenience and security for delegates travelling across New Delhi.
The Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 and Toyota Vellfire offer spacious cabins suited to VIP transportation. Both models also provide features aimed at improving rear-seat comfort, including tablet-based controls that allow passengers to manage various cabin functions.

The Kia Carnival has also been included in the summit's transport fleet, with its spacious cabin making it suitable for delegate movement.
The MPV offers reclining rear seats and a large cabin, making it particularly suited to longer journeys between hotels, meeting venues and other locations in the capital.
According to Harmanpreet Singh, Director of Punia Travels, the aim is to provide a comfortable and premium travel experience for guests throughout their stay in New Delhi.
The GLS 450 will cater to delegates requiring an SUV, while the Carnival will provide additional cabin space and rear-seat comfort.
The BMW 5 Series is another premium vehicle included in the BRICS Summit transport fleet. The executive sedan will be used alongside the SUVs and MPVs to support the movement of delegates and officials.
With different vehicle types being deployed, the fleet has been arranged to meet the varying requirements of world leaders, ministers, diplomats and other high-profile attendees.
India will host the 18th BRICS Summit at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on September 12 and 13, 2026, under its BRICS chairmanship. The summit is being held under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”
Discussions are expected to cover global governance reforms, strengthening the voice of the Global South, economic cooperation, resilient supply chains, digital public infrastructure, artificial intelligence, fintech, climate action and green finance.
Leaders from the 11 BRICS member countries are expected to attend the summit. These include Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Representatives from partner and invited countries are also expected to participate.
Given the scale of the event, extensive security arrangements have been put in place across the capital. These include the deployment of thousands of personnel, traffic restrictions and special advisories to manage the movement of dignitaries during the summit.
