Mercedes-AMG G 63 Offroad Pro launched at Rs 3.8 crore Gets active roll control and seven-stage traction locking Limited-run SUV gets roof rack, ladder and 20-inch AMG wheels
Mercedes-Benz has launched the new AMG G 63 Offroad Pro in India at Rs 3.8 crore, ex-showroom. The new version of the performance SUV gets additional off-road hardware and will be sold in limited numbers. The AMG G 63 Offroad Pro costs Rs 6 lakh more than the standard AMG G 63. The new trim is designed to offer improved control and capability when driving on challenging off-road surfaces.
New Off-Road Suspension
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 Offroad Pro gets AMG-specific off-road upgrades, including active ride control suspension with active roll stabilisation. It also features AMG Active Balance Control. This system allows the roll stiffness to be adjusted across three stages, depending on the type of off-road surface and driving conditions. These updates are aimed at improving the SUV’s body control while tackling rough terrain.

New Traction Pro Mode
Another major addition is the Traction Pro mode. It is available when the G 63 Offroad Pro is being driven in the Rock and Sand modes. Mercedes-Benz says the system can control braking torque at each wheel individually. It also offers seven stages of locking, allowing the driver to adjust the level of traction control depending on the terrain. This hardware is expected to give the G 63 Offroad Pro better control on loose and uneven surfaces.
Roof Rack And Rear Ladder
The new G 63 Offroad Pro also gets equipment designed for adventure-focused driving. It comes with a roof luggage rack featuring aluminium panels. A removable rear ladder is also included, making it easier to access the roof-mounted luggage area. The SUV rides on exclusive 20-inch AMG alloy wheels finished in matte black, giving the new trim a distinctive look compared to the standard G 63.
Mercedes-AMG G 63 Offroad Pro Price
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 Offroad Pro is priced at Rs 3.8 crore, ex-showroom, in India. This makes it Rs 6 lakh more expensive than the standard AMG G 63. Mercedes-Benz will offer the Offroad Pro in limited numbers, making it a more exclusive version of the performance-focused G-Class.
