The Mercedes-AMG GLS is going for a facelift, which will introduce both design and feature updates. Though the full-size luxury SUV continues to have its strong appeal, some significant changes will make it even more desirable. This new iteration of the GLS will introduce a new look, enhanced technology, and better features to retain its position as a class-leading luxury SUV.
The most significant updates to the Mercedes-AMG GLS will occur in the exterior look. The front and rear lights will be revised with new inner graphics. The new light designs will look similar to the company's trademarked three-pointed star, providing the car a more contemporary and unique appearance. These exterior cosmetic updates are designed to provide the GLS a new charm without altering its basic design excessively.
Within the GLS, we would expect some tweaks, especially from a technology point of view. Mercedes will likely revise the infotainment screen to be bigger. This would result in a more improved and intuitive experience for passengers and drivers. The interior may also undergo a minor revision to improve luxury and comfort. The newest safety assistance systems will be added so that the GLS provides both convenience and security.
The Mercedes-AMG GLS under the bonnet will most probably stick to its existing engine configuration. Given the new EURO7 exhaust laws that came into force in January, it would be expected that the AMG GLS does not undergo much change in the engine. Still, this midlife update will make sure the car is updated to the new emission norms, which is essential as the car industry shifts to more stringent regulation.
