The most anticipated electric models at this year's show will be the showstopper for the next generation electric vehicle from the house of automakers. These will be ready-to-launch vehicles that have been lined up, such as the Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti Suzuki eVX, and Mahindra BE.05. These are going to refashion the electric SUV market with specs that sound interesting, technologically impressive, and reasonably priced.

The most-sold SUV in India, the Hyundai Creta, will soon be in an electric version. The Hyundai Creta EV is expected to go on the global stage at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025. Production of the car is set to begin by the end of 2024, and it will be launched in January 2025. The electric SUV will come with a 45kWh battery pack, and it will send that power to its four wheels by the same electric motor used for the global-spec Kona EV. This motor would churn out 134bhp and produce 255Nm torque, thereby meeting the criteria of more than 400km range on a single charge.
The Creta EV will be based on the revised K2 architecture of Hyundai, with dedicated elements such as a shut-off grille, a redesigned bumper, and aero-optimized alloy wheels. Creta's cabin, which should be based on Hyundai's premium EV, Ioniq 5, includes options like a steering-column-mounted drive selector, ADAS Level 2, and ventilated, powered front seats.

Maruti Suzuki will also bring its first electric SUV, the Maruti Suzuki eVX, to the Bharat Mobility Show 2025. Unveiled for the first time as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, the production-spec eVX is going to feature the company's futuristic designs, things like a closed-off grille with Y-shaped LED DRLs, a flush door handle, and connected tail lights. The cabin of the eVX is said to be futuristic, with the inclusion of things like dual integrated screens, amongst many other modern features on board.
The new model is expected to feature a 60kWh battery pack under the bonnet, which will give the SUV a range of up to 550km. The Maruti may also have a choice of two-wheel and all-wheel drive options in the vehicle's drivetrain. Estimated to be starting from Rs. 20 lakh, the eVX shall replace the likes of Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Creta EV as rivals.

Indian manufacturer Mahindra is going to market its new electric SUV, the Mahindra BE.05, which is based on the innovative platform invented by the brand called INGLO. In addition to the first-order SUV, more will follow from this planned understructure, and that includes the two XUV e8 and XUV e9 variants. The mid-sized, 4.4-meter-long electric SUV will be launched by the end of October 2025 and counts as one of the direct competitors for the Hyundai Creta Electric.
Accommodates a size between 60kWh and 80 kWh; fast charging at up to 175kWh. So there would be a possibility to fill 10 percent to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes. An all-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive SUV's versatility in driving for every terrain must be offered.
Bharat Mobility Show 2025 is going to be the game-changer for electric mobility in India, with the launch of novel electric SUVs like the Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti Suzuki eVX, and Mahindra BE.05. Cutting-edge technology, long driving ranges, and new features will flood the Indian market; this shall certainly excite more people to make EVs a preferred mode of transport.
