Hyundai has recently announced to launch 26 new cars in the Indian market by the end of this decade. The company has already launched the new-gen Venue compact SUV. The Korean brand is going premium, which is evident from the official launch of GENESIS luxury brand in 2027. Moreover, more premium and luxury global Hyundai SUVs are heading to India.
Hyundai has officially announced to launch the Palisade full-sized SUV in our market. Moreover, the Ioniq 9 is likely to be launched as a flagship electric model in the country. The company will launch a new off-roader SUV, which could be an all-new model. Hyundai is developing an all-new off-roader for global markets, which will take on the Toyota 4Runner. The same could arrive in our market.

The Korean brand will also enter a new MPV segment. A new 7-seater MPV based on the Carens Clavis platform can’t be ignored. Hyundai is already selling the Stargazer MPV in select ASIAN markets. Moreover, the company could also opt for the STARIA luxury MPV to rival the Kia Carnival.
The Palisade could be introduced as a CKD unit. Hyundai is looking to localise the full-size SUV in India and export it to other markets. The SUV could be priced around Rs 50 lakh, and will rival the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and others.
The SUV will be powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a strong hybrid tech. This engine produces 334hp of power and 460Nm of torque, and is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 14.1kmpl. A 6-speed automatic gearbox driving the power to front-wheels will come as standard. The company could also offer an all-wheel drive system. It also comes with three drive modes - Eco, Sport and My Drive - and three terrain modes - Mud, Snow and Sand.
