Hyundai Neira MPV India launch in 2027 Petrol, Turbo Petrol, Diesel and CNG versions will be launched Debut at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027
We informed you earlier that Hyundai India will finally enter the 3-row MPV segment dominated by Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova. A new report claims that the Hyundai Neira will be the brand’s mass-market MPV. First showcased as an electric concept vehicle at the Indonesia International Motor Show, the Neira will serve as Hyundai’s sister model to the Kia Carens Clavis.
Set for an official India showcase at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in early 2027, the production-ready Hyundai Neira will launch commercially in the first half of CY2027 (H1 2027). The upcoming 7-seater MPV will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki XL6, Kia Carens and Kia Carens Clavis.
While the original concept debuted as an EV in Southeast Asia, Hyundai for India will introduce the MPV with Internal Combustion Engines and alternative fuel setups:

Crucial CNG Addition: The Neira will debut as Hyundai’s largest factory-fitted CNG vehicle in India. It is likely to get a dual-cylinder tank layout to preserve usable rear boot space. This powertrain will allow Hyundai to compete directly against Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga CNG.
The MPV is built on the shared Hyundai-Kia modular midsize platform. The Neira concept retains the silhouette and proportions of the Carens Clavis while introducing Hyundai-specific styling cues. It will have a parametric front grille, full-width horizontal LED light bar, distinctive 16-inch alloy wheels, connected H-shaped LED tail-lamps with Hyundai badging, and 6-seater (captain seats) and 7-seater configurations.
The Hyundai Neira will have cabin layout similar to the Carens Clavis, and will offer premium tech and family focused comfort features. It will have dual digital displays comprising a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument console. Key comfort and convenience features include ventilated front seats, multi-color ambient cabin lighting, roof-mounted AC vents for 2nd and 3rd-row passengers, foldable setback tray tables and a panoramic sunroof.
For safety and security, the new Neira comes with 6 airbags as standard, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), all-wheel disc brakes, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and a LEVEL 2 ADAS suite.

Market Launch: First Half of 2027
Expected Price - Rs 12.5 lakh - Rs 23 lakh
