Kia has dropped another teaser of the new Syros SUV before its launch on December 19. In previous teasers, the brand revealed the front fascia of the compact SUV, which resembles the Kia EV9. In the fresh teaser, we get to see more features from outside to inside. Get more insights!
Based on the latest teaser, Kia Syros will highlight a boxy design with vertically positioned LED headlamps, an upright bonnet, flush-fitting door handles, a silver skid plate with black elements on bumper, roof rails, and L-shaped LED taillights.

The interior of the new Syros will boast a two-tone cabin theme. Besides, the compact SUV will offer a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, front parking sensors, automatic climate control, a new gear selector, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.
The new Syros will be powered by two engine choices including turbo-petrol and diesel units. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit can produce a maximum power of 118 bhp and 172 Nm, paired with either 6-speed MT or 7-speed DCT. Its 1.5-litre diesel mill can churn out 113 bhp with 250 Nm, mated to a either 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
Based on Kia's 2.0 program, the new Syros is expected to be priced between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will rival Tata Curvv, Citroen Basalt, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, and Citroen Aircross.
